Botox is injected into muscles to temporarily paralyze them. This effect smooths out wrinkles and fine lines in the skin, particularly around the eyes (crow's feet), forehead, and between the eyebrows (frown lines). 
 
Botox will be needed regularly every 3-6 months for maintenance.
